Dr. Mustafa's career began after graduating from Hawler Medical University. He spent three years serving as a general practitioner in the Erbil governorate, gaining invaluable on-the-ground experience in both primary and secondary care hospitals.
While practicing medicine, he simultaneously pursued advanced business credentials, successfully completing an MBA degree from Université de Picardie Jules Verne (delivered through the Lebanese French University). His MBA specialization in Health and Hospitals Management provided him with a critical understanding of healthcare logistics, administration, and efficient patient flow—a cornerstone of MEDCARE's operational excellence.
Seeking to further enhance his clinical and scientific acumen, Dr. Mustafa moved to the United Kingdom, where he successfully completed an MSc in Advanced Neuroimaging at the prestigious University College London (UCL).
Following his specialization, he worked within the demanding UK healthcare system, serving as a specialty doctor in Orthopaedics and later in Internal Medicine. During this tenure, he gathered invaluable experience that directly informed the creation of MEDCARE:
